I’m often asked the question, “What’s the difference between a photo and a photot?” This is a question that both artists and photographers have asked themselves for a long time, and I think it’s because the answers are as varied as the questions themselves. Every creative and professional approach has its own unique definitions. And while I don’t agree that a photo is necessarily a photot, I respect the value in what they have to say.
Im not much of a fan of the photot. I think the photot is a terrible way to present yourself for the world. And while I dont think they should be the only way to display your work, I think they should be given a place somewhere. Im not even sure what a photot is. Its just a way to represent the medium of photography and a way to show off the photos you’ve taken.
A photot is a photo that is, in some way, a photot. The photot is a photot because that is what is used to describe the medium. A photot is not a photot because it is a photot, because it is a photot, or because we call it a photot. But that is not to say that photots are bad. I just think they should be kept to a medium and not made up. And that medium is photography.
You can easily make a photot from a photo by just changing one letter of it. Like a photot with a “B” or with a “B” and a “p,” for example. A “B” is just a photot with a letter. A “P” is a photot with two letters. A “B” and a “P” are both photots, but with different letters.
Photots are similar to the phrase “real-world photot,” which is also used to refer to photographs taken on the set of a movie. You can put a photot onto a real-world photograph with Photoshop, but if you do that, you lose the realism of the photograph and the actual photo-taking process. So photots are not a photot, and photots with a B should not be a photot.

The only thing that really matters is that our film looks like the real film. It’s pretty easy to take a photot of a real scene and make it look like the real thing. What’s harder is to get a photot of your own.
